Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday said he is worried that Israel will try to “push Palestinians out of the West Bank after it’s done with Gaza”. Abbas also said an Israeli invasion of the southern Gazan city of Rafah would be “the biggest disaster in the history of the Palestinian people” and that only the United States is capable of stopping it. The Palestinian leader spoke at the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, whose guest list also includes representatives of Hamas and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, but no one from the Israeli side.
